So yet again we get some rain and I go through a normal sized puddle of water on the main road and BAM! Dash lights fly on, loss of power steering and engine temp slowly rises before I can get off the main road.
I don't know if this is a design flaw but has anyone else has this issue. I have a fairly new belt(10K ago with new idler wheel and belt tensioner) I do notice that when looking down where my MAF sits by the water pump you can see straight down to the ground. I am wondering when the water is forced in front of the wheels if it is being pushed up and into the lower pulleys allowing the belt to come off.
Does anyone have any input on this and what I could do to fix this? I know all my wheels are fine and show no sign of out of normal play so it couldn't be that....
