I parked my car to go to the grocery store came back and it wont start. I changed both batteries let it sit over night and nothing happens. The SID shows Immobilizer failure. Contact Saab dealer. The motor cranks but it will not start. After I disconnect my battery I put the key in the ignition and it wont move. I have to switch it to the other side of the key for it to unlock and it lets me crank but once again it will not start. I have driven the car before without a problem and the message on. I have to press the clear button for it to go away and it used to come back every time I will start the car. Do I need a new ignition system? Reset the FOB? Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Thank you in advance.
