Hey everyone,
I have a 1996 900 SE turbo, so a new generation, and the clutch went out. The auto shop would charge a couple grand to fix it so I'm going to try to replace the clutch myself. I have no idea what I'm doing at this point, so I'm poking around the interwebs to see what I can find out.
Most of the information available on how to replace a clutch in a SAAB is for Classic models, so my first question is whether there is a significant difference in the clutch and transmission between Classics and New Generations. If there is, can anyone point me in the right direction to begin learning how to go about fixing my car?
Also, I didn't know where else to post this so if this belongs in a particular section of the website please let me know.
Charlie
