Hi Everyone,
I am new to Saab Central. I am in the middle of a turbo replacement and I am having trouble lining up the various oil and coolant lines on the center section of the turbo.
Money is tight, so I bought a Chinese GT17 turbo off EBay.
The car is a 1999 9-5 with a 2.3.
In particular the oil return line is near impossible to attach and when it is attached there is a kink in the middle of the rubber hose that might inhibit oil flow out of the turbo.
Do I need to remove the new turbo from the car again and loosen the two sides of the turbo to spin the center section to get the oil/coolant lines to line up? Or is there something that I am missing?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Chris
