I'm seeing really odd fuel pressures on startup with my 01 vert and thought to look into the check valve.
The check valve appears to be build into the fuel line fitter that snaps into the fuel pump.
Just how doable is replacing that valve? My experience with those nylon fuel lines is they don't exactly disconnect and then reconnect very gracefully. A heat gun will soften the nylon enough to disassemble, but getting a fuel tight re-seal can be a problem.
I'm tempted to simply add an in-line valve between that fitting and the fuel filter, think the other option might be to replace the complete line.
