My car is running WAY TOO cool now that the temp has dropped.
I am going to replace the thermostat.
What I want to know is how much coolant am I going to lose when I pull off the upper hose?
I have the expensive coolant from Eeuroparts in the car right now.
Pulling the lower hose to drain the coolant first is not really an option as laying on my muddy snow covered driveway to do that would really bring the suck.
I have a bit of the coolant in a jug still and am hoping that I do not lose very much.
Also anyone got any tips of pointers on replacing the thermostat? I looked for a write-up but couldn't find one.
