Hello all, it's my first time in this forum and I hope to be around for a while. I purchased my 2007 Saab 9-5 2.3t in January of last year. (I live in NJ btw). Its been really good to me but for a almost a year now, my car seems like it's misfiring. I'm not a savant or a knowledgable techie when it comes to cars so I apologize if I don't grasp things too quickly and such. When I'm driving I'll see my turbo gauge and RPM gauge quickly jump up and down even though I'm moving at a steady pace. And if I'm idling, my RPMs rev like I'm at the starting line of a fast and furious movie. I had a tune up done and my ignition coil replaced around may this year but the misfiring has gotten worse. Not to mention, my fuel economy SUCKS. I consistently put almost 100 bucks of gas a week. I went to Autozone to get my computer codes and they come up as P0340, P1312, P1334, and P1181.

Now I'm confused because when I took it to my local mechanic recently, he tells me I need a new crankshaft positioning sensor, and I read thats a routine thing on saabs with my mileage (93.000). But these codes are coming up as an ignition coil and such. But like I said I had mines replaced. Im at a loss, I don't know what to do and the last code is a confusing one for me. Again, i'm really sorry that I don't know as much of cars, I know its frustrating but I need help. Thanks in advance.
