Hi guys,
I have a 2003 9-5 aero for one year now. I would like to know if ı can convert the suspension to non-aero specs.
The aero engine is excellent with huge performance with little revs and throttle input but ı would rather like a softer suspension and ride. The road holding with aero spec is very good and ı don,t see myself forcing its limits on the dry anyway. On the other hand 160 km/h on the motorway is psycological limit for me. On bad road, better say on not so good roads, I have too much noise coming from everywhere, specially from the back. So, why to have the aero chassis?
I can almost hear you asking me, so why to have the aero engine? Well, to cruise at 150*160 km/h at 3000 rpm, to clımb what ever motorway hill with 120 or plus km/h, have good performance without stressing the car and the engine. and the aero is extremly good at these, I just think that ı don't really need the aero chassis setup.
Any ideas, thougts, advice or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.
