hello all , and Happy New Year ,
I am the proud owner of a Saab 93 Sportwagon , its 3 years old and I have owned it for just under a year .
the problem i have is water leaking into the car under the passenger side carpet , the carpets do not feel damp on the cabin side but there is a lot of water underneath .
both the plenum and pollen filter drains are clear , I cannot detect any evidence that water is coming through the doors .
I have tried and failed to remove the front passenger seat so that I can have a better look at what might be going on , the T40 bolts turn with the nuts under the seat blocks , so cannot be removed ( without grinding away carpet and part of the block ). not sure about doing this , at least until warranty expires.
A Saab tech told me that water cannot get into these cars unless through a breached door barrier . not sure myself .
has anyone got any ideas ?
love the car and would be a shame to get rid of it . unhappy face .
