My first car!

Hello all, I guess you can say I am new to it all. Turned 17 in July, worked my *** off for 5 months and now I am a proud Saab owner. The Saab I picked up was an 2001 Saab 9-3 SE, red, real nice exterior wise and interior. Has 140k on it. I got a steal for it and I love European imports. Of course when you get something for a steal there will be problems and I have a few. So, here is a list of some of the current issues that I have discovered.

1. Knock, sounds more like a tick to be honest.
-Got an Oil change, 3 Quarts of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 0w-40
-Placed one quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in it to see if just needs a clean.
-Bought a can of Seafoam which I will do a run of it tomorrow through vacuum lines, tank, and crankcase.
-I want to drop the pan and clean screen, but cannot afford it at the moment and don't have tools to do it myself.
-This is obviously my biggest concern, I placed only 15 miles so far on the oil change so I am guessing marvel may take a bit to set it. Will see

2. Check Engine Light; P1334 and P1312
- Misfire!? but how, sure wouldn't be running hitting 4k rpm no problem.
- I can get a new cassette, but the car runs fine and occasionally doesn't start. Sounds like a CPS issue, I have a new sensor in hand but no code and it seems fine now.
- Maybe this is causing that dreaded tick/knock?
- I also got a set of new sparkplugs, I want to check the others out first.

3. 13 MPG's.
-Either this is completely an inaccurate reading or its true. Maybe has something to do with cassette. I have no idea on this one.

4. Trunk's carpet is drenched when it rains
- Found a thread on this, will fix it before it rains again ;)

5. Loud vacuum noise in cabin under dash
- Sounds like this thing is constantly sucking air below my dash but when I apply my brakes, noise quiets down and if hard enough, its gone.

That is pretty much it, will add more if I find em. I really want to thank you all for any help. Really appreciate it. Love the design, the power, everything. loving Saab itself!

Thanks again!
