I'm planning on making a trip from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas later this week and would rather take the 9-5 as opposed to my wife's Mazda 3. It has just over 94,000 miles. The round trip is about 850 miles.
My only real concern is the fuel pump leaving me stranded somewhere in the middle of the desert. I have a spare DIC that I bought for a misdiagnosed issue last year. I also replaced the transmission oil last year, done the PCV update and cleaned the sump.
Before I leave, I plan on replacing the coolant temp sensor (which has gone bad) and doing an oil change.
Is there anything else I should do before I leave on Thursday afternoon?
