So my newly acquired Saab with a 'claimed' power steering fluid leak from the low pressure line coming off the reservoir is actually leaking from the rack.
Best I can tell is it is leaking from what appears to be a large plug/bolt that sits on the bottom of the rack under where the pinion enters.
The EPC mentions 9 o-rings and some seal washers (for the banjo bolts) but I think all the o-rings are for the fittings of the pipes not for the large plug or anything. I am losing a lot of fluid, the qt I put in was all pissed out in about 15 minutes, and the pump/car was only running for about 5 minutes.
Any thoughts on a possible source of the leak or any tips on R&R the rack.
