Please help!!! I don't even know how to properly post on this forum. I am new here.
Here's my problem... I own a 99 Saab 9-3 SE sedan. The car has 143,999 miles and is in immaculate condition. One day I go to the store, go in and do a little shopping, came out and got in the car and it wouldn't start... I had a mechanic look at it for me and his diagnosis was that the ignition switch was broken. OK, I had the ignition switch replaced and then got the msg "KEY NOT ACCEPTED". So I had the new key programmed to the TWICE box under front seat. Now the car would crank, but still wouldn't start. Back to the same issue. So i tried borrowing a friends DIC to see if that was the problem. The car still wouldn't start. I was told to crank the car to see if the RPM moves and if it didn't that it would be the CPS. So I tried that and the RPM did not move, so I changed the CPS, tried to start the car, but it still won't start and the RPM gauge still doesn't move... Someone please help me. This is my only vehicle and I love it. It's pretty quick, clean, and has good MPG. Most people think it's a new car, but it's a 99.
Oh, the fuel pump is working and there's gas on the spark plugs and the DIC is firing. What should I do? Can't afford dealership and those are rare here in North Texas. I used a OBD diagnostic tool and there are no codes.
