Buy extended warranty or not?

Hello, new 2009 9-7x to me, and the PO has an extended warranty I can continue for 6yrs or 100K, (now it has 47K on it) for around $2K
What are the thoughts out there?
$100 deductible at dealers, bought through carfax,
or take my chances?
