Hello all, this is my first post. I have a 2000 Saab 9-5 Wagon 2.3L Turbo. I have tried doing google searching and all else (except going to a mechanic) to try and figure out the best way to do this. I went and bought a bottle of sea foam that I want to put through the intake manifold in hopes that it will a few issues that I am having. However, I am unsure which vacuum hose to pour the fluid through. Is there anyone on here that can point me in the right direction?
Here are the issues that I am having:
If anyone has suggestions on what might be the cause I am all ears. I hope to find a solution that is easy and not too expensive.
Here are the issues that I am having:
- Occasional slow ignition
- Rough idle
- Slow acceleration
- And as of recently my car will completely shut off while driving
- When using sport mode it tends to stop accelerating and the check engine light flashes for a few seconds when I reach about 55-60mph
- I believe I am having misfires
If anyone has suggestions on what might be the cause I am all ears. I hope to find a solution that is easy and not too expensive.
