Converting halogen headlight assembly to xenon

Hello

I recently bought xenon headlights at a junkyard for my 2004 9-3. However, one of them is smashed and the housing is irreparable so I have taken out all the electrical parts and projector. I have halogen lights on my car. Is it possible to just switch the components over from the xenon headlight? If so, how would I have to take the housing apart?
