Hi all. I recently purchased a '94 900. The PO said it had a leak from the bottom pan gasket, which I checked out when I got there and from what I could tell at the time was accurate. Well on the ride home I discovered the filter also needed to be changed. So I ordered a gasket and filter and today finally got both changed out. I put a little fluid in and ran it idle until it got up to standard temp, everything seemed to be great, I saw no leaking. So I filled the fluid up to the appropriate level and continued to let it run. Then I noticed a leak again, very slow at first. I got under it to see what it was and discovered a small hole in the transmission that it was coming from. The longer I waited the worse it got. I finally gave up and decided to get it back home, but when i tried to drive it it didn't want to give much power. I got about a quarter mile down the street just to decide not to risk it and turn around. I discovered a constant stream of fluid all the way up and down the street from the minute of driving. I have no clue what this is (I'm pretty new to mechanical things), but can anyone tell me what this is and what I need to do to fix it? I'm broke as is so taking it to a shop is not an option. Thanks in advance for any help.
