Add remote entry to 2000 9-3?

Hi all,

I just picked up a 2000 9-3, base, in really good condition. The one feature this car doesn't have, however, is remote entry. I have 2001 9-3 parts car that does have remote entry, though. Is it possible to swipe the parts from one car to another? Which parts? Would I have to do the entire TWICE system including the instrument cluster?
