Bought a used 93ss with locking issues. Please help

So, just bought a used 2003 9-3 2.0t and I am scratching my head at a few of the issues involved with the lock/unlock system.

I bought the car with a dead drivers door lock and door ajar sensor. The SID would say the door was ajar every time you drove. Also there was a broken window regulator in the drivers door too. To the junkyard and after picking a window reg, latch assembly, and back again for the door wiring harness I am just confused.

So far I have put in the newer latch from the 06 and the window regulator. I did not notice the different pin-outs on the latch until after, and then went back to grab the door harness... but have not installed it yet.

At one point I did have a message on the SID about central lock malfunction contact saab dealer. But only once, and never again.

Symptoms are as follows.....
-Drivers door power lock will not lock or unlock with key fob.
-Trunk button on drivers door will no pop trunk.
-Key fob will not lock any door, but will unlock all 3 other doors.
-Key fob will pop the trunk.
-No more door ajar notice on SID. Interior lights will turn off after a moment now though.
-Drivers door window controls does work for all doors.
-Driver and Passenger lock/unlock buttons do not work at all.
-When you press the lock mast down on all but the drivers door you do hear a motor run to lock the door.

I am going to take a look at swapping the drivers door wiring harness to try and remedy the failure on the power lock, but the rest of the issues (key fob, door buttons, etc.) I am unsure of. Is there some other subsystem I should be looking into? Is there another part that might be causing the finicky locking? Is this something that could be fixed without the Tech2?

Thanks for the help.
