I having an issue with my trans making noise 3.4.5 gears. I'm looking for some ideas on whats causing it. The noise is a buzzing/grinding that can be felt and heard and most obvious in 5 gear 70-80mph in deceleration but It also makes noise in 3.4.5 low rpm hard pulls but it is intermittent.
Some other things I should mention. mileage, 120k. I just had this trans out to put a clutch in this car (not my first clutch job) and did the pilot bushing, slave and shifter seal. Also I did a 3x flush and fill with new mtf #88862472. This trans was completely quiet before the clutch was put in. The only thing I can think of is some sediment broke loose and made it in to a bearing :cry:.
Any ideas of what is making the noise? or if I should drop and repair or swap?
