I have an 03 9-3 2.0t and just recently the check engine light came on. It is giving me codes of P1342 cylinder 1 misfire, p0300 multi-random misfire, p0442 Evap. leak, and p0638 throttle actuator control range performance. The light was on for a couple of weeks with no problem. I just thought it was a fuel cap. Now the boost gage is barely registering anything, I cant drive more than 20 mph. I took my car to work and had the codes read and got the codes mentioned above. cleared codes, and car ran fine for another week. Now it is in limp mode again and is worse than before. We cleaned throttle body, checked all wiring connectors and it go a little better but not up to par. Could this be a misfire causing this and/or the throttle control sensor doing this? if so...wouldn't a sensor causing the problem, always cause the problem? Any ideas on why I can be fine for a week at a time?
