Hi guys,
I have a coolant leak in my 1999 9-5 2.3t. The car has roughly 179,000 miles on it. The issue started in the winter when I noticed I had to add a little coolant here and there, not very often. However, as the weather got warmer, it progressively got worse. I had to add coolant every 3-4 days or so.
Now you can smell burning coolant that leaks out when I stop the car. I am adding links to pictures of where I have pinpointed the leak down to. It appears to be trickling out of the block in the spot circled in the pics.
What is causing my issue? Is there a fix I can do? Any help you can give would be great.
