Disable ABS?

Any way to do this temporarily? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it will pass inspection with a fault. I am gonna get it sorted, but from what I understand I need tech 2 to read the fault since a normal OBD2 won't report it. The only guy with a tech 2 is my indie and he's booked up several weeks in advance. The light just came on :-\
