9-3 Steering/Handling improvements- Brace or Bush?

Hi all,

I love my 2001 9-3S Coupe but the factory handling is terrible and really lets down the car.

This weekend I am going to try the rear ARB "stacking" trick which I am led to believe should make a significant difference. I know good quality aftermarket ARB's are available, but I live in Australia and aftermarket performance Saab bits cost a bomb here (as does shipping from the US for large items), and the second factory ARB is costing near to nothing, so I figure its worth a try.

Now I know this has been discussed at length, but I am looking for a "final word" so to speak. I can either buy a polyurethane bush to tighten up my steering rack for little money, or spend significantly more on a PFS Steering rack brace kit. So my question- has anyone here tried both who can comment on the relative suspension/steering improvements of both mods? Just trying to get a feel for whether it is worth spending the extra $$$ on the brace kit.

My car is RHD if that makes any difference and the firewall is solid (reinforcements already welded in under warranty). Car is low kms and all suspension components/tyres are in good condition.

Any comments greatly appreciated.
