i drive a 2001 saab 93 se and i recently installed a pioneer avh-4500bt. i read somewhere that to upgrade speakers i would have to change the head unit first because i guess most after market speakers would get blown out, due to them being 4 ohms and saab using 2 ohm speakers or soemthing not completely sure. also heard that there might be a factory amp. anyways i decided to upgrade the dash speakers first with some kicker KS35 seeing how they were easy to install and cheap to replace in case they did get blown out. after 2 days of playing music the left speaker is shot and im just wondering if maybe there is an amp that i would need to remove so that i could install my new speakers with out having them get blown out. or if maybe the speakers just aren't compatible with the new head unit
