Car: 1999 9-3SE
Recently I replaced my catalytic converter with a new bosal unit. The aftermarket cat has the threads for the front 02 sensor in a slightly different place, after the flex section of the downpipe. My original cat had the threads just after the turbo, on the top of the downpipe. Now my front 02 sensor plug will not reach to where it needs to go. I temporarily cut the wires and extended them, would like to replace the 02 sensor altogether since it was already suspect.
Is there an 02 sensor that will have around 6-8" more wire so it will reach up around the downpipe? If I go with on of the universal Bosch sensors, will it have more wire?
