so i have a 2000 95 aero, and ive noticed this problem slowly creeping up and becoming more and more apparent. when i punch it in my car my car will pull hard through 1st and 2nd gear without any problems and then in the top end of 3rd gear it starts to sputter and then you can smell the gas a bit from the tailpipe (my friend said he saw fluid coming out of my tailpipe) and it isnt oil or coolant because there is no smoke and coolant is still filled. And in 4th and 5th gear it only makes it to about 3000 rpm before the same thing happens. i changed out the fuel filter and added some fuel injector cleaner hoping it was a clogged injector. my filter was in terrible shape and probably hasnt been changed since the car was new (now 177k miles old) and it helped a little bit but the problem is still there. anyone have any suggestions?
