No power in hot weather. New MAF... :(

Hello,

My 2002 9-5 Linear (auto) has been diagnosed as having a bad MAF sensor. This was due to poor acceleration and power, even while the boost was registering at left side of red in the dash. I suspected before that was the case and bought a cheapy MAF before the appointment. AFter that, tech said needs an MAF. I replaced with a Saab MAF. Same issue -under load, which includes driving 70 mph, and in hot weather, the car has been accelerating very sluggish and slow to figure out how to get moving -almost caused me to get t-boned. I drove it today, about 85F out, starting with a cool engine. Never an issue; drove perfect. Parked it for 30 mins, came outside, drove it home and bam! it acted crazy again, and this time, the boost was bouncing very slightly before boosting fully -if it would even do that. Under full throttle the response is much better than even 3/4 throttle. It seems I can drive it for 20-30 miles with no issues IF I start with it cool. Once I stop and restart with it warm, issues begin immediately. I need some of you to share your wisdom! thanks!
-Sean
